This is my first official correspondence of 2026.

I want to first preface this by naming if you see something from me, it is written by me, without the help of AI, unless otherwise noted.

I’ve been in a bit of a hibernation; my last official call was over a month ago. This spaciousness has given me time to reflect, observe, and notice. My two gates of aloneness, 40 and 12, are grateful, along with my gate 25, which needs time in retreat to gain perspective.

I’ve said this for a while, and I will say it again – the landscape of the online industry is changing.

The landscape of business is rapidly shifting.

The world is facing a fork in the road….expansion or extinction.

What we all individually do contributes to the collective we will experience in the years to come.

But more about that at a later date.

I’ve witnessed loads of entrepreneurs throwing offers at the wall to see what sticks.

I’ve seen retail desperately try to get people to purchase with some wild and questionable sales tactics.

I’ve walked by empty restaurants on a Friday night.

I’ve watched big names and businesses struggle.

In contrast, I’ve also witnessed….

Magic happens for entrepreneurs who show up congruent with who they are

Businesses thrive when they are answering the requests of the market they serve.

Clients are staying the course and reaping the rewards of their efforts.

But the reality is things aren’t status quo.

So let’s get into what’s in and what’s out in 2026…

What’s In –

Writing & Creating Your Own Original Content – People are craving real, messy, authentic writing.

What’s Out –

Using AI for all of your writing, content, and correspondence – People can spot AI-written content, and while there is a time and place for leveraging AI to support you in your writing, it should not be the majority of your correspondence.

What’s In –

Live & In-Person Events & Retreats – People are craving connection, and I believe retreats, events, and in-person support will make a resurgence.

What’s Out –

Homogenized Mid-Ticket Offers that lack depth, nuance, and are lackluster.

What’s In –

Mastery & Nuance – While the market may not be ready to embrace this fact…yet…2026 is the year where we will see those who have a differentiated level of depth and nuance rise and those who lack it will fall away.

What’s Out –

Copycatting others in Your Industry and Being One Step Ahead of Your Client – Shallow, thrown-together offers that lack depth.

What’s In –

Individualization & a Client Centric Approach – The ability to hold space, individualize your experience with a client-centric approach, and actually care about your clients.

What’s Out –

Homogenized, Meh, One-Sized Fits all, My way or the highway approach to clients.

What’s In –

Regulated Nervous System and Emotions so that you can hold space for clients to transform. Our energy speaks for us before we open our mouths…we most mind our presence, energy and show up in a regulated state, ready to hold space for whatever the clients brings to the table.

What’s Out –

Unregulated, emotionally sloppy, and triggered space holding for clients

What’s In –

Simplification of Your Business Ecosystem in the form of a unified presence and one place for clients to peruse your offers – Clients want to see what is available and not be sold to. People love to buy but hate to be sold.

What’s Out –

Complex funnels, with upsells and rabbit holes

What’s In –

Seeing It through – sticktuitiveness – honoring the plan – Most entrepreneurs do not see their plans through. They start a plan, but then don’t actually give the plan a chance. They give up before they reap the rewards. In this climate, you need to have the guts to see it through, even if you think all hope is lost….because that is when the magic happens.

What’s Out –

Trend Hoping, throwing offers at the wall to see what sticks, and using hope as a strategy.

What’s In –

Critical Thinking, Synthesis, Action Taking & and real-world experience are going to be necessary as people begin to leverage AI more and more.

What’s Out –

Should’ing, Procrastination, Perfectionism & Overthinking

———

I firmly believe that Human Design is a tool that you can leverage to embrace many of the changes that are happening, but it requires you to not just know your human design but to embody it, to integrate it into your life, and to become who you were meant to be before the world told you who you should be.

So what’s working….

  • The Experience Offer – I still see a lot of chasing in terms of quick fixes and symptoms. This tends to come in the form of solving very specific problems. This is still working as long as the delivery has depth and the content is consumed.
  • Customized Support with a regulated space holder, which could come in the form of reports, readings, coaching (true coaching), and/or Voxer. This could also be in a group, but it needs to be tailored to the individual.
  • High-End Retail/Products that address specific needs or consumer concerns, or are individualized in some way, or perhaps handmade.
  • Books, Substack, Low Ticket/High Volume Community with human-created content.
  • Live Workshops Online or In Person – Again, this needs to be specific, with a specific outcome, but this is working and working well, and often requires tweaking and honing to scale.
  • Training and Certifications where people can hit the ground running with a framework and do not have to reinvent the wheel or create something from scratch.

I believe in 2026 we will see a big divide between those who have a level of mastery, experience, and depth vs those who don’t. Our ability to hold space for our clients to create transformation, evolution, and growth is going to take precedence since so many questions can now be answered with the help of AI.

Speaking of AI – it’s not going anywhere, and you will need to know how to leverage it in your business. People are embracing AI….at the beginning of 2025 – I introduced my Chatbot and sold zero, I tried again at the end of this year and sold over 30 licenses. People are ready, and they need guidance on how to actually leverage, use, and make the most out of AI.

While I am a firm believer that AI cannot replace humans, many people leverage it as a therapist, coach, and adviser….I’m not a fan of this approach with most tools since AI tends to say yes to everything. AI can take a lot of mundane tasks off your plate, can help you critically think of spotting things you might miss, and, in general, can help solopreneurs scale without having to go through the pain of hiring.

What’s Next…at least for me…

This year, I intend to release two books that I have been sitting on and finish one that I’ve had in the wings.

My focus is on writing, creation, and synthesis, which brings forth new depth, nuance, and mastery for those who are in my world.

As you may have heard, I’m running 1 Cohort of my HD Wild – Ecocentric Human Design Training and Certification Program, which this year will include support for writing, creating, and launching your book.

The HD Your Biz – Catalyst Reports will continue to be tweaked and honed as I add more depth to my writing and synthesis. As will the Catalyst Experience.

Synergy, my chatbot, will continue to be updated, honed, and tweaked with some exciting updates coming later this year.

On March 25, 2026, I will hold my first in-person event – Business Design Day here in Newport, RI. This will be a day of building, putting the foundations in place for a regenerative business congruent with your human design.

And throughout the year, I will be hosting a series of live workshops.

For me, I am allowing myself to be seen this year….committing to my writing, podcasting, and creative processes.

But all of this works because I commit to my writing.

I invite you, as you think about your 2026, what is the one thing that moves all other things forward? For me, that is my writing, creation, and synthesis process. This feeds all of the other things that I do in my business.

What’s next for you? What’s the one thing that if you move it forward, it moves all other things forward in your business?

If you’d like to work with me in 2026, here’s how:
