The Business Design with Human Design Series Continues. Doors will CLOSE for this Experience October 1 at 11:59 pm ET. Let’s dive into the Line 6. The Line 6 Mentor is here to help people move from confusion to clarity so that they can figure out what is next. The Line 6 is here to provide OBJECTIVE counsel in the area of expertise where they have healed their wounds, established themselves, and can spread their wings. The challenge for the Line 6 is twofold 1) they may not have healed their wounds from the first 30 years of their life and there for cannot provide objective advice and 2) Since people often see the six line as other worldly and look to them for a stamp of approval when a Line 6 starts providing advice in areas where they have not established themselves they will not be able remain objective. They become subjective. They cannot see all sides of the equation and therefore share personal opinions or biased advice. The Line Six is here to see beyond, see what’s next, and help people move from confused to clarity so that they can start over and build a new foundation. The Line 6 is sought out for their stamp of approval, and their clients yearn to have the input of the Line 6. While the Line 6 often does not see what the fuss is all about, yet they have a perspective once their wounds are healed that the rest of us don’t have. It speaks to all of the other lines (1, 2, 3, 4, & 5) saying, “I can help you figure out what comes next, beyond what you can see, I can lead you.” Now, mind you, the Line 6 doesn’t often feel like a leader. They are curious and confused about the human experience and don’t see what the fuss is all about. They have often been banged up and bruised as they move through the Phases of their experience. Phase 1, approximately birth to 30, much like a Line 3, Phase 2, approximately 30 -50, much like a Line 2, then Phase 3, approximately 50 to death. The Line 6 is separate from the other lines in that they see the world differently. They see how the many different pieces connect together, the fragility, the hopes, the dreams, the despair. They see it all. And if they heal their wounds, they will be called into lead and not leading by locking arms down with the people, but leading from behind, providing counsel, mentorship, and supporting their clients in figuring out what is next for them. The Line 6 needs others to mentor to live out their high expression. In order to find congruence as a Line 6, one must be willing to grow through the tending, reckoning, and letting go process of healing their wounds from Phase 1, establish themselves in Phase 2, and spread their wings as a mentor in Phase 3. While this does not mean that a Line 6 cannot do anything until phase 3, it is quite the opposite. They need to engage with life on their terms so that they can step into their leadership & mentorship role in phase 3. It is important to note that not all six lines will live out the high expression of the third phase of their lives. Some may struggle to reckon with their wounds, while others may cave to the burden of mentorship. In order for the Line 6 to thrive, they must be willing to do the work in the second phase of their lives. They must put down the perfectionism that often keeps them stuck and lean into trusting, discerning, healing, and establishing. The Line 6 must be mindful of While the Line 6 may not feel like a mentor, their aura speaks for them. The collective seeks out the approval of a high-expression sixth line. The Line 6 must be careful not to counsel on topics and areas where they have yet to establish themselves, simply because the other seeks out their approval. The sixth line may fall into the trap of the more that I know, the more I realize how little I know, so why bother, or worse, get caught in a state of perfectionism. This is not ideal. For example, the two most common expressions I witness with sixth-line clients are spending time obsessing and perfecting, and never actually moving forward. The Line 6 hems and haws and gets caught in a cycle of stuck, never moving forward. This leads them to not be able to provide objective counsel, and they often sprinkle these perfectionist tendencies onto others. The other expression that I witness is counseling on everything and anything, which then leads them to provide subjective, personal, and biased advice instead of objective advice. The Line 6 is here to provide objective advice because they get all of the facts and can see things from different perspectives in the areas where they have tended to and healed their wounds. When a Line 6 fails to set boundaries in the mentorship and counsel they provide, they become exhausted, irritated, and lack boundaries. This leads to a deterioration of the relationship because the Line 6 gets annoyed that they are being asked for their stamp of approval on all these areas that they are not established in, and the clients become confused because they simply want the Line 6’s approval because of their all-seeing, aura. The Line 6 Mentor in human design needs a business ecosystem that prioritizes freedom and people who are ready to be counseled and mentored, assuming that the Line 6 has healed their wounds and established themselves. The Line 6 needs clients to understand that they are not here to provide counsel on all aspects of their lives. The Line 6 must be clear in their boundaries and communications around what they will give their stamp of approval on. The Line 6 must be mindful of what is their responsibility, what is their clients, and what is the collective’s. The Line 6 must remain objective in order to live out their high expression in business. The client journey for the Line 6 is often one that supports those in their world to move from confusion to clarity so that they can step on the path to what is next. The Line 6 helps the collective and their clients to see what is beyond and available on the material plane. The Line 6 must be mindful of the timing in their lives and allow clients to move to what is next. The Line 6 mentorship may ebb and flow with clients at different points in their lives. The Line 6 must learn to trust themselves so that they can move through the world with confidence, even though they may not always feel like a leader. The Line 6 fearlessly but selectively provides its stamp of approval for those who are ready, willing, and primed to move to what is next. Of course, remember this is only an aspect of the chart, AND does not take into account your lifestyle. I believe that the parts do not exist without the whole in human design, and you must keep in mind the intersection of your design, desires, and lifestyle in order to build a business around your design. One that you do not have to shrink yourself down for or settle. The reality is that the online industry has let most of us down. It has asked you to stuff yourself into a business model, marketing strategy, and lifestyle that isn’t what you desire. They have shamed you, blamed you, and guilted you when their so-called “fool-proof” process doesn’t work. The industry gurus sugarcoat the realities of what it takes to build a sustainable and regenerative business ecosystem and offer. They keep you on a homogenized, trend-hopping treadmill that leaves you burnt out, confused, and overwhelmed. They actively encourage you to throw single-use offers at the wall just to see what sticks. This keeps you in a cycle of stuck treating the symptoms (short term) in your business. The reality is, in order to build a regenerative business, a business for the new era, a business built around your human design instead of one that you have to shrink your design to make work for you, you have to build a foundation, you have to get to the root of the problem, and embrace long-term actions and strategies. You must finally give yourself a permission slip to claim what you desire, how you want to work, and the lifestyle you want. Inside the Business Design with Human Design Experience, we do just that.
