The Business Design with Human Design Series Continues. Let’s dive into the Line 4.

The Line 4 Mayor is here to move people from a position of weakness to one of strength because of the unique opportunity they see. The Line 4 clearly owns the truths that they stand for, influences others with their conviction of belief, and the opportunities they see. 

The challenge for the Line 4 is that they often aren’t clear in their truths or what they influence around, and as a result, the opportunity jump. Jumping from one thing to the next. This makes it difficult for them to influence people and move them from a position of weakness to one of strength. 

The Line Four is here to influence those who are in their network with the foundation, possibility, and experiment they see as an opportunity, aka their mission. The Line Four supports clients best when they come through their network. Those clients who come through the fourth line’s network are ready to be influenced by the Line 4 and are ready to move from a place of weakness to one of strength. The inner circle of the Line 4 is a key part of their success. The Line four needs a conviction of beliefs and truths along with a trusting inner circle. The Line 4 isn’t necessarily here to create or invent but instead find a foundation, possibility, and experiment they believe in and influence around it.  

The Line 4 needs others in order to live out their high expression. Cultivating, nourishing, and establishing an inner circle allows the fourth line network to be established and grow. Many in the human design space think this means the Line Four goes networking. That is incorrect. The fourth needs other people to introduce new people to them. Otherwise, the people will not be ready to be influenced by the fourth line. They will challenge and question them, which leads the fourth line to abdicate their responsibility. The line 4 can sniff out weakness and influence people on a better path when they come through their network. Otherwise, they are met with resistance. 

While the Line 4 is here to influence yet, they are uninfluenceable by the other. The move through the world methodically and changing paths for a fourth line can be like turning a tanker ship. The more a fourth line is clear on their truths, the more opportunities they will have to influence. The stronger their inner circle, the more opportunities the Line 4 will have to influence. 

For example, one of the most common expressions I witness with fourth-line clients is that they are not committed to the opportunity they see. Instead, they opportunity hop, which leaves them with a confused network and inner circle. When they try to influence people, the lack of clarity around their truths leaves people resistant to being influenced, which usually results in people challenging the fourth line. When the fourth line gets challenged or questioned, they will inevitably abdicate responsibility and their part of the resistance they are experiencing. 

The Line 4 in human design for business must have clarity, trust, and commitment to their mission, their truths, and their beliefs. They must listen first, then influence those who come into their world through their inner circle. They must take responsibility for owning what they are here to influence around and stick with it. The Line 4 must be mindful of who they are trying to influence so they don’t meet resistance. 

The Line 4 Mayor in human design needs a business ecosystem that prioritizes network cultivation and clarity of the mission. The Line 4 needs to be in rooms with people who are ready to be influenced and move from a place of weakness to one of strength. The Line 4 needs a business model that allows for time with people listening and influence, time with their inner circle, and time alone. The Line 4 needs to ensure that both the clients and their inner circle are benefiting from the 4th line influence. Line 4 is here to be the representative of what it means to be a 9-centered being – it is critical to their success that they own and embody that. 

The client journey for the Line 4 is often one that supports clients in stepping into their own empowerment because they move from a position of weakness to one of strength. The Line 4 is a beacon of strength, reliability, and purpose when they own the foundation, possibility, and way they see opportunity in (without changing or manipulating it). They show us what it means to live out life as a 9 centered being in their high expression. The Line 4 stands tall and supports people getting onto the right path, coming into the fold, living life as a good citizen of the collective. 

Of course, remember this is only an aspect of the chart, AND does not take into account your lifestyle.

Please note that the information shared in this email is only part of the content that I delve into inside the Business Design With Human Design Experience. I believe that the parts do not exist without the whole in human design, and you must keep in mind the intersection of your design, desires, and lifestyle in order to build a business around your design. One that you do not have to shrink yourself down for or settle.

The reality is, in order to build a regenerative business, a business for the new era, a business built around your human design instead of one that you have to shrink your design to make work for you, you have to build a foundation, you have to get to the root of the problem, and embrace long-term actions and strategies. You must finally give yourself a permission slip to claim what you desire, how you want to work, and the lifestyle you want.
