making a decision

Have you ever said yes to a decision and then later regretted it? I know I have on many occasions. It left me feeling resentful, frustrated and overwhelmed.

When I started sharing the HD Your Biz program with the world, I very intentionally decided I wasn’t going to do one of those high-pressure, must-act now launches. I wanted the people who decided to go on this journey with me to have the time and space to make the decision if this was right for them. In the online marketing space, there is always so much pressure to make a decision. The countdowns, the persuasive marketing copy that makes you feel FOMO, and the lack that you aren’t enough and you need this other new thing to be whole. The reality is, it’s a façade. It’s a way to get you to move forward NOW with zero understanding of who you are as a human.

I propose another way

I believe you already are WHOLE as you are AND I realize sometimes we get lost along the way. For me, it is about cultivating that wholeness and supporting you in uncovering it so that you can bring joy back to all areas of your life, especially your business.

I know this because I’ve lived it. I gave away my power by outsourcing my decision-making. I asked for advice from far too many people who had no business giving it to me. Coaches, friends, family. You name it. I asked them and attempted to implement it. I listened to everyone but myself.

I kept pushing and thinking if I could just get to this milestone things would get better, easier, and simpler. It never did. I failed to listen to myself even though my body was screaming at me, “this was not for me” until I finally took my power back in March of 2020.

It was in the weeks of being home that I slowly found my way back home to me with my human design book by my side. That I finally trusted my gut, that I began living my strategy and I finally stopped saying no to myself and started saying yes to me. Slowly, the fire inside me began to grow and I finally felt like myself again.

Making a Decision

Almost, two years later I feel more aligned than ever. I know what I am here to do. I say yes ONLY to the things that I know are correct for me and do I still have an oops every now and again. Yes, because I’m human.

I share this because each of us, within our human design blueprint, has a correct for us strategy and decision-making style. I implore you to honor that, to listen to it, and to understand that. As it can and will change your life. I know it has changed mine.

Human Design Authorities

If you are a….

Emotional Authority – I encourage you to ride your waves of emotions before jumping in. Experience the highs, the lows, and everything in between. Know that you will never get to a 100% on any decision but 80% of the way is a yes.

Sacral Authority – I encourage you to tune into your gut response, the inner “uh-huh” or “uh-uh” that bubbles up from within. Have someone ask you a yes/no question to help you tap into this response. Some of you may even feel an actual pull (yes) or push (no)  in the body. This is your inner GPS.

Splenic Authority – I encourage you to tune into that immediate in the now response. It is in the moment that your authority whispers to you if this is correct for you. Your instinct (and senses) is your guide and it does not steer you wrong. Trust it. Listen to it. Honor it.

Heart Authority – I encourage you to tune into your heart and ask yourself, “do I desire this? Do I want this? Is my heart in it?” If your heart is in it, it is what needs to happen. If you want something you get it. This is your heart’s desire. Believe in it. Nurture it.

Self Authority – I encourage you to trust that, “I just know it. I can’t explain it but I know it.” feeling for you. This authority comes from within and bubbles up within the body. It is a subtle yet potent inner guidance system unique for each person. It is this inner knowing which carries meaning to your life.

Outer Authority – I encourage you to be slow, deliberate, and calculated in your decision-making process. You rely on the external environment to discover your inner truth. Find the balance, research, and double-check before making any decisions. Embrace the lunar cycle of 29 days. Look outward. Honor your process.

I encourage you to honor your authority and then decide if the HD Your Biz Program is right for you.

I hope it goes without saying, but I will say it anyway, I would be honored to support you on this journey but only if YOU feel like it is right for you. No one can make the decision for you.

With your impact in mind,

Jamie
