Navigating Change through the Lens of Human Design Profile
Change is the act or instance of making or becoming different.
I’ve been talking a lot about change, and I often wonder if it is a strong enough world for what I am observing.
Business is changing. Our behavior is changing. The world is changing. The collective shifting. RAPIDLY.
We can no longer sit idly by and hope for the outcome we desire. The time has arrived to get into the arena and create change. Hope for a better future. To create that which we want to see, and we cannot do that if we breathe life into the old, the fixed, the contraction, and the negativity. We must get our head out of the sand. We cannot continue to feed extinctionist thinking.
We must find the light, the hope, the force, the possibilities, the growth, the revival, and evolve. We must embrace expansionist thinking. The light at the end of the tunnel that we cannot yet see. We must trust and take action without knowing what the outcome will be.
I know that through the lens of human design, all of us are not, nor should we be, open to change. Most of us resist it or, at best, tolerate it. Change is difficult. Uncomfortable. Challenging.
The fork in the road is nearing, especially in business, to decide – will I expand or will I go extinct? Will I adapt and thrive, or will I hold on and risk extinction?
I don’t say this to fear-monger or scare. I say this with great knowing that when we look at this time, what we feed – extinction or expansion will define this era in history. Heavy, yes. Truthful, yes.
I say this because now is the time to take the action, the one thing you thought was “crazy” or would never work. Now is the time to lean into you and let go of what no longer serves you. Now is the time to give yourself a permission slip to pursue that inner nudge. We can no longer sit idly by waiting for that one day to finally come, when we finally “feel ready,” whatever that means.
I know that if you are in my world, you are here to make an impact, to create change, to see light in the darkness, and to lead.
I know that my destiny, desires, and soul are calling me to take action, and I can no longer ignore it.
I know that if we had more people who got back to the nature of who they truly are, the world would be a better place, and that this would create a ripple effect out into the collective.
I know that if more people built their business around their design instead of shrinking themselves to fit into their business, the world would begin to shift. Each of us would spark more joy, abundance and flow and this expansive energy would spread.
I know that, depending on your design, taking action and moving forward when you cannot see the entire path may be challenging.
And I know each of you has the courage within you to change, to embrace the unknown, and move forward in spite of it.
The revolution in our world is upon us.
Business HAS shifted.
It’s time to evolve.
Below you will find a part of one of the three segments in the Business Catalyst Day Workshop I am holding on Friday, November 7, at 10 am ET. If you would like to join me and better navigate change in our new world, access to this workshop is available exclusively for HD Your Biz – Catalyst Report clients. There are fewer than 30 spots remaining.
The other two segments for the Business Catalyst Day are – Business Model & Business Ecosystem Robustness, Navigating the Straddle Season of building a business around your design.
There will be a replay for those who can’t attend live or would like to rewatch.
As always, take what resonates and leave the rest. I invite you to look at both lines in your profile, as well as tallying up the lines (the numbers after each of the gates on the left and right-hand side of your chart – there will be 26 total).
Of course, your profile lines will not be the only part that impacts your ability to change, AND I believe this plays a big role. I believe the parts don’t exist without the whole, so keep this in mind.
